The classical Sci-Fi flim The Amazing Colossal Man from American International Pictures. directed by Bert I. Gordon, and starring Glenn Langan, Cathy Downs, William Hudson, and Larry Thor, opened on this date.
Despite the obvious similarities between Glenn Manning’s accident and the origin story of The Incredible Hulk, both of which involve men who receive size-altering mutations as a result of exposure to atomic blasts, this movie predates the Hulk’s comic debut by nearly five years.
