The Merrie Melodies short, All This and Rabbit Stew, directed by Tex Avery Davis, and starring Bugs Bunny, was released on this date.
The cartoon is one of the infamous “Censored 11” by United Artists (and currently Warner Bros.) since 1968, due to its caricature of a blackface African-American hunter. This is the only Bugs Bunny cartoon to be in the “Censored 11“.
