Today is the last day of International Cephalopod Awareness Days, and we are celebrating International Fossil Day (I’m terribly sorry folks but once again, National Fossil Day was rescheduled to be celebrated yesterday on October 11, according to the National Park Service website, and they don’t appear to have any reason to lie.)
But today is (or should be) Fossil Day, celebrating all the incredible suckers that have gone extinct.
